A Canadian refugee currently residing in Alberta, Canada has finally come forward six months after winning a $60 million lottery jackpot. The man kept the secret for 10 months before breaking the news to his friends and family.

"I started to think about what this win would mean for my family," he told a press conference. "I realized it's going to change a lot of things and I wanted to make sure we were all ready and prepared for those changes," he told a local Alberta newspaper.

He stated that he now intends to pay off the mortgage on his house, take a family vacation and continue his work as a gardener. He also quipped that he might not tell his children that he had won at all because he still wanted them to work hard.
