A lotto player from the USA used a unique strategy that really paid off. He played the same set of lucky numbers 20 times and won the same prize 20 times in a single draw.

A lottery player from Virginia, USA won a total of $100,000 when he won played the same lucky numbers 20 times and won 20 identical prizes each valued at $5,000.

Tony Miles played 20 tickets that each had the same number combination, a strategy he had never tried before. It was the four digit combination of 1-9-2-9 that bagged his winnings.

Miles, who is currently a forklift operator, says he has no immediate plans for his winnings other than paying off his debts. He says that he also plans on keeping his job for now.

He told local newspapers that he had never tried using this strategy before, and this was his first ever big win. The odds of winning 20 times using the same 4 digits are well into in the millions.
