Spanish Authorities Postpone Loteria Nacional Due To Coronavirus

The Spanish State Lotteries and Gambling Board have suspended all sales and marketing of Loteria Nacional shares, as well as any Loteria Nacional draws until further notice.

The coronavirus is impacting everyone across the globe and that impact has now reached the lottery and raffle world. Spanish authorities have declared that all activity around the Loteria Nacional are postponed until further notice.

In a statement released on their website, the Spanish State Lotteries and Gambling Board stated that all share sales have been halted, as well as the payment of all prizes less than 2,000 Euros.

All shares that were purchased for the March 21st draw are still regarded as valid and will be entered into the next Loteria Nacional draw, the date of which will be announced by the Spanish State Lotteries and Gambling Board.

Accordingly we at Giant Lottos have also paused all sales of Loteria Nacional shares, and will also be honoring all shares sold for the March 16th and March 21st draws. We will keep you updated with further developments.
