National Lottery's senior advisor is excited about the upcoming draw, saying that “We literally have a truck load of champagne on ice ready to help the lucky 40 ticket-holders from all over the UK celebrate their life-changing win."
And to sweeten the deal even more players will have the opportunity to play for one of the Millionaire Maker million pound prizes and for the main jackpot. To win the main jackpot players will need to match all five of the main numbers as well as the two Lucky Stars numbers.
The draw is hoping to break jackpot-winning records for creating the most millionaires in a single draw. The UK Millionaire Maker was introduced recently as part of other rules changes to the EuroMillions draw in the hopes of creating more winners and bigger jackpots.
National Lottery providers also hinted that more changes could be coming to the EuroMillions later in the year. Entry into the UK Millionaire Makers draw is included in the price of a regular EuroMillions ticket.
A spokesperson for the EuroMillions clarified that these types of special draws attract up to 60% more players per drawwhen compared with draws that do not have any special attractions.
