$522 Million Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold In California

One of the biggest Mega Millions jackpots in history was recently won after a winning ticket for the draw was sold at a liquor store in California.

The ticket was sold at Ernie's Liquors in San Jose, California for Tuesday nights $522 million Mega Millions draw. The jackpot is the third largest of 2018, and the fifth largest Mega Millions jackpot in history.

The Mega Millions jackpot had been rolling over since May and is valued at $522 million or $302 if claimed in cash. The winning numbers came in at 1, 2, 4, 19, and 29, and the Mega Ball was number 20.

According to Mega Millions spokespeople, there were a total of 3,100 000 winning tickets for Tuesday night's draw, as well as several tickets winning in excess of $1 million each. These million dollar winning tickets were sold in Texas and Florida.

The name of the lucky ticket holder hasn't been revealed yet.
