The winner was 42-year old Steve Thompson, a builder from West Sussex in the United Kingdom. They are the sixth winners from the UK to claim a jackpot this year alone.
Their ticket bagged the jackpot on November 19th using the lucky numbers 8, 10, 15, 30 and 42, with 4 and 6 as the additional Lucky Star numbers.
Mr Thompson and his wife currently have three children in school, and admits that their education was one of the first things to cross his mind when he realised that he was a winner.
He says that he 'nearly had a heart attack' when he checked his winning numbers, and actually became confused when he realised that he had won the jackpot.

But now that the shock has passed and reality has set in. what exactly does he plan on spending his enormous fortune on? His kids have already put in requests for a new Tesla and the latest iPhones.
But at the top of his list is a new home for his family so that each of the kids can have their own room, along with a very overdue holiday for him and his wife.
At the time of writing the couple have made no big purchases yet, other than a new shirt and haircut for Steve.
