He won his millions at the same place where he hit the previous two jackpots; his pub The Mallard in Scunthorpe, possibly making it Britian's luckiest pub. He toasted his win along with lifetime friend Dave Long, and his wife Kath outside his pub, which regular patrons have suggested that he change the name to "The Lucky Duck"after this third lotto win. He may be a multi-millionaire, but Brooke has no major plans for the future, “I’m still going to carry on pulling pints, though. It’s all I know.” he said.
The pub's luck also seems to have rubbed off on some of the regulars; two other customers have also won the EuroMillions netting prizes totaling more than £1 million. These winners ,along with another Mallard regular who won the lotto, comes to three lotto winners in just four years. Along with these winner Ian Brooke has said he will dole out £125,000 to two other pub regulars after promising to share his winnings with them.
