Rock Out With A Multi-Million Lotto Jackpot!

If you love rock n roll then you'll love the freedom that winning a lotto jackpot will give you - the freedom to live your passion, maybe start your own band, and even own a part of rock n roll history!

While the first two are up to you, the last one we can definitely help you with - by pointing you in the direction of some truly epic (and truly extravagant) guitars. Each of these legendary instruments is a stitch in the rich tapestry of rock fandom, and if you have the resources and the enthusiasm, there's no reason why you can't call one of them your own.

Custom Fender Guitar by Damien Hirst - $146,730

You may know Damien Hirst better as a world-famous artist, but it turns out he's something of a guitar fan too - at least when it comes to enhancing them. That's exactly what Hirst did with a Fender Stratocaster guitar used by the 70s band Squeeze, hand-painting it with an exclusive design in time for a Christie's auction, with all proceeds going to a cancer charity. While this guitar is expected to reach in the region of $25,000, Hirst is no stranger to hand-painting guitars it seems, having used his artistry to help another instrument sell for a massive $146,730.

Rock Royalty Custom Gibson Les Paul Guitar - $175,000

The more customised a guitar, the more value it has - at least when it comes to the Rock Royalty Custom Gibson Les Paul Guitar. You won't find any generic manufacturing here - instead it's all tailor-made and personalised, from its black and white trim to custom guitar knobs encrusted with 24.5 carats of diamonds. The rock and roll bling doesn't stop there though - just take a look at the guitar selector switch, studded with 2 carats of black and white diamonds, and the 17.5 carats of diamonds adorning the homemade tuning keys. It's all sparkle, all the time - which is why you'll have to pay a dazzling $175,000 if you're to have any chance of owning it!

Eric Clapton’s Fender ‘Blackie’ Stratocaster guitar - $959,500

Even if you're only the most entry level type of rock n roll fan, you're sure to have heard of Eric Clapton, one of the most legendary musos of the genre. It makes sense that any Clapton guitar would be a sought-after item, which is why his famous 'Blackie' Fender Stratocaster is so highly valued, coming in at a whopping $959,000. A favourite of Clapton's in the 70s and 80s, Blackie is rock n roll history personified, featuring prominently in some of Clapton's greatest hits. It’s no surprise then that when it was auctioned to raise funds for Clapton's own foundation, it went for more than $900,000, making it the second most expensive guitar ever sold.

Reach Out To Asia Fender Stratocaster Guitar - $2.8 million

So which is the most expensive guitar ever sold then? That title goes to another Fender Stratocaster, this time one auctioned off in the name of the Reach Out to Asia charity, in Doha, Qatar, for the princely sum of $2.8 million! Featuring autographs from some of rock's most famous legends and personalities, including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Page, Bryan Adams, and many more, the guitar broke records when it went under the hammer, raising some much-needed funds for its chosen charity. Now that's the rock n roll spirit at its finest!
