The Havering 90 Joggers are used to dressing up when raising money for local charities, but this is the first time they have run with winning lotto numbers pinned to their chests while holding a giant "winning" cheque. Each of the runners took to the streets with a single number of the winning combination emblazoned on their chests.
The lucky Romford player won the jackpot prize on a EuroMillions draw that was held on Friday, February 23 but the winner only has a few more days to come forward and collect their winnings.
Mark Dalby, who organised the run, said that “Here’s hoping our efforts will help to find that lucky winner, who knows maybe they will decide to join us in celebration."
If nobody comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline date the money will be forfeited and will go toward funding various National Lottery charities and other interests across the U.K.
