We Have A Winner! Fifth Biggest Powerball Jackpot Ever Has Been Claimed

A USA Powerball jackpot of nearly $700 million, the fifth biggest in the lottery's history, has been won by a single ticket holder.

The lucky winner played a single ticket and matched all six lucky numbers to win the $699.8 million jackpot, which is one of the biggest in the history of the USA Powerball.

The winning number combination was 12, 22, 54, 66, 69, and the additional bonus Powerball was 25. The lucky player beat the 1-in-292 million odds to take home the big jackpot.

This is the fifth biggest USA Powerball jackpot ever won, and the seventh biggest jackpot ever won in America. The jackpot had rolling over since June 5th.

"The lucky ticket holder will have the choice between an estimated annuity of $699.8 million, paid in 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or a lump sum payment of $496 million. Both prize options are prior to taxes," a USA Powerball representative said.

There were also plenty of lower tier prizes won in the draw. In this particular Powerball draw there were 2.2 million winners who claimed prizes between $4 - $2 million.
