The ticket, which was purchased a little over a week ago, is the fourth EuroMillions ticket bought in the UK which has won a jackpot prize. The winner has a massive £51.7 miilion prize coming their way, which would make them nearly as rich as pop star Ed Sheeran of footaball superstar Gareth Bale.
The National Lottery and EuroMillions commissions are urging all lotto players who bought tickets on Friday 28th to double-check their EuroMillions tickets. The lucky ticket holder still has 173 days to come forward to claim their prize, after which it will be donated to a local charity. Every year tens of millions of pounds go unclaimed from winning lotto tickets all around the UK.
