It's nearly that time of the year again; that time when Spain's biggest raffle takes place and people from all around the world stand a chance at winning prizes from an estimated €700,000,000 prize pool!
The yearly El Nino raffle is a famous Spanish New Years tradition that has captures the attention of players from around the world, in the hopes that they will walk away with one of the life-changing prizes. But while you may be thinking that the El Nino is just another raffle, there are a few points that set it apart from the rest:
So how does the El Nino work?
Rather than choosing your lucky numbers as per a traditional lottery, with the El Nino you buy "shares" in a single ticket with predetermined numbers. Each ticket is divided into ten shares, of which you can buy anywhere between a single share to ten shares, which would entitle you to all the winnings of that ticket. So be sure to get your tickets before the draw of January 6th and get ready to win big!
The Superenalotto draws take place three instances a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm Italian time, and is played by numerous people from throughout the world who play for it's huge prizes.
