Builder Who Bagged £105 Million Jackpot Could Become £90 Million Richer

When Steve Thomson won a £105 million UK National Lottery jackpot he thought he had reached the top, but now he could be even richer!

Steve has been working as a builder when he claimed the top prize of £105 million in a 2019 draw, and admitted that the news of the win is still sinking in today.

He's been called "Mr Sensible" by his friends and the media after he invested tens of millions of his winnings in UK banks, and now it looks like those investments could start paying off.

The money had been invested in two separate trusts and included investments in stocks, shares and various properties. These investments could pay back upwards of £90 million in the next 20 years.

“Dealing with that sort of money and planning for not only your children’s future, but generations to come, is a hard task," said Steve.

They were staying in their £150,000 three-bedroom home in Sesley, West Sussex during the wave of national lockdowns imposed amid the Covid pandemic.

Steve and his wife recently moved out of their three bedroom home into a 15-acre estate which includes a swimming pool, tennis courts and a party barn.
