The clock is running out for a lucky lottery winner from Leicester who only has one week left to claim their £1 million jackpot win.
Lottery officials are urging all players in the Leicester area who bought tickets for the Lotto Millionaire Raffle draw that took place on the 21st of February to check their tickets again. An unclaimed prize for the amount of £1 million is still outstanding from that draw.
Senior winners advisor, Andy Carter, has urged players in the area to double-check any tickets bought on the draw date and look anywhere a lottery ticket could have gone missing.
When it comes to any UK National Lottery, players have 180 days after the draw date to come forward and claim any prizes. If anyone thinks that might be holding the winning ticket they are urged to contact the National Lottery helpline or contact them via email.
If nobody claims the prize by next week Monday then the money will go toward National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. It is estimated that more than £10 million in lottery prizes goes unclaimed every year.
