Lottery operator Camelot has confirmed that a £77 million jackpot has been won, making it the tenth biggest ever jackpot awarded in the U.K. Another winning ticket was sold in Spain, and will also collect a multi-million Euro jackpot as part of the total £155 million prize that was up for grabs.
Along with the two big jackpot, it has also been confirmed that there are 7 more players across the U.K who each won £1 million. So far three winners have come forward, and four of the prizes are yet to be claimed.
Andy Carter, senior winners advisor for the National Lottery, told news outlets; "It is great to be able to help this ticket-holder celebrate their amazing life-changing prize. They are the tenth biggest winner this country has ever seen and we will now support them as they begin to enjoy their stunning win."
This win doesn't quite match the biggest EuroMillions win of last year, which came in at £87 million, or the biggest ever EuroMillion jackpot win of £161 million awarded in 2011.
